Talking Points

At BVA, we believe that communication with families is key to student success. One way we like to communicate is via text message through Talking Points, our multilingual platform. As a family member, you will receive messages via text message or you can download the app.

How It Works

Educators message families, then the families receive messages in their home language.

We want to encourage you to log into your student's Canvas account and check their academic progress each week using this link. Please look for current grades and any assignments that are missing to date.

Technology Support

At BVA, technology does not replace human connection. Partners, students, and families that choose BVA receive the highest quality customer service and technical support. Benefits include: 

  • An advisor that serves as a single point of contact for all questions and access to information. 

  • All-day access to tech support for immediate assistance resolving any hardware, software, or access issues. 

  • Daily access to the virtual office to meet with teachers, discuss assignments, and receive individualized support.

Our Technical Support team will contact you as soon as possible. In the email, include as much detail as possible on the issue and the best way to contact you, including your phone number if a voice call is desired. Please note that if your regular email isn't working, you may also send a text to the same email address to create a support ticket.
