Summer Course Options
Original Credit
April 13, 2026 -July 23rd, 2026
Students can take full-length courses to earn original credit, explore new areas of interest, or lighten next year’s course load, all within a flexible, condensed format.
Credit Recovery
May 18, 2026 -July 23rd, 2026
This focused, nine-week program helps students retake courses and strengthen their understanding. Students can skip material they’ve already mastered, making learning more efficient and effective.
Partnering for Summer Success
BVA partners with districts as well as offers summer courses directly to students and families through a private pay option. Please check with your district to ensure they will accept your summer course credit before enrolling. Summer registration opens on March 30, 2026. The last day to register is July 1, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
My students attend school in-person in their school district, but we like the school district's relationship with the virtual academy. It has helped my students to take summer courses at BVA, especially ones that their school district doesn't offer.
