We understand that every student has unique needs, and for students with disabilities who don't require special instruction, 504 Plans provide essential support to ensure they have equal access to learning. These plans focus on making necessary accommodations in both in-person and virtual environments to help students fully participate in their education. 

In our virtual classrooms, accommodations may include extended time on digital assessments, modified screen layouts, or assistive technologies that integrate seamlessly with our online tools. Our goal with 504 Plans is to remove barriers and help students with disabilities thrive in a virtual setting, ensuring they have the same opportunities to succeed as their peers. 

For students with more specific learning needs, our Special Education staff work in collaboration with your home school or district to tailor strategies in alignment with your child's IEP to provide the support and services they require in a virtual environment. Individualized digital learning plans are created to accommodate each student's unique needs and learning styles.  

Our Special Education Liaison works hand-in-hand with students and families to ensure that all aspects of the IEP are being met, offering extra help through office hours, instructional support, and compliance assistance. We use specialized digital tools and apps to accommodate different learning needs, and our dedicated team provides regular virtual check-ins to ensure the student is progressing and receiving the right support. Whether it’s adjusting lesson plans or providing additional resources, the goal is always to provide a seamless learning experience that honors the individual needs of each student. 

For our gifted learners, we create an enriching virtual learning experience aligned with each child's GIEP. We recognize that gifted students think and process information differently, often at a faster and more complex rate, and our online platform is built to cater to those unique learning profiles. 

Our program offers a range of challenging and thought-provoking activities, including virtual enrichment projects and accelerated digital courses that push students beyond their grade level. We focus on fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through engaging online resources and collaborative opportunities. Students participate in virtual breakout rooms, where they can dive into higher-order thinking activities with their peers, ensuring they stay challenged and motivated. 

In addition to enrichment, students can also explore special studies or engage in self-paced, in-depth learning on topics that spark their interest, all supported by the flexibility and extensive resources of our online platform.
